KU Student Chapter of ASCP - American Society of Consultant Pharmacists provides students with knowledge and exposes students to providing care in a senior care setting.
The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) represents pharmacists and students serving the needs of the geriatric population. ASCP is dedicated in educating and advocating for pharmacists and students providing care for the geriatric population in a wide variety of settings such as: nursing facilities, retail pharmacies, hospice, home health, mental health facilities, and much more. KU’s student chapter creates opportunities for students to learn more about career opportunities in the long-term care setting and guidelines for treatment for the geriatric population.
