Walter R. Dixon

Professor Dixon's research interests focused on the mechanisms regulating the release of the neurotransmitter norepinephrine from nerve endings in the peripheral and central nervous systems. He also researched the effect of cocaine on the blood pressure and heart rates of conscious, unrestrained rats.
