Getting to the KU SOP Building

  • There is considerable construction on/near West Campus.

  • August 23rd is also "move-in" day for the dorms. Traffic will be heavier than usual, please allow extra time to reach the SOP Building.

  • SOP Building address: 1020 Becker Dr.

  • Directions - Because of move-in traffic and restricted access, the following directions should be followed to arrive at the SOP Building. Driving north on Iowa St., go left (west) at the W. 21st St. intersection and then right (north) on Constant Ave. to Lot 214 between the Simons Lab Building and the Pharmacy Building. Alternatively, you can also access West Campus and Lot 214 via 19th St. and/or Bob Billings Parkway.

  • Suggested parking – Lot 214 in the Yellow Zone parking spaces. See West Campus Map for location. Lots  215, 225 and 302 are also available if 214 is full.
  • Parking is free in Yellow Zone parking spaces prior to the start of classes on Monday, August 26th.
