Accreditation Status


The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy's Doctor of Pharmacy program has been given the status of Accredited with Probation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, 190 South LaSalle Street, Suite 3000, Chicago, IL 60603, 312/664-3575; FAX, 866/228-2631, web site www.acpe-accredit.org, for compliance issues with the following standards: Standard No. 3: Experiential Learning, Standard No. 4: Students and Student Service, and Standard No. 5: Faculty and Staff. Compliance issues also exist for Standard No. 1: Organization and Governance and Standard No. 6: Resources. The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy is accredited through June 30, 2030. 

All graduates of the KU School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) program are eligible to sit for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NAPB) Licensure Exams (NAPLEX and MPJE).

Complaints from other institutions, students, faculty or the public against a college or school of pharmacy, including tuition and fee policies, and as related to ACPE standards, policies or procedures, shall be placed in writing in detail by the complainant and submitted to the ACPE office. The complaint shall be submitted to the institution for response.
