Step One: PCAT

Take the PCAT (Pharmacy College Admission Test)

School of Pharmacy currently accepts PCAT scores from October, 2016 or later.

Step Five: KU School of Pharmacy - Pharm.D. Application

Complete the KU School of Pharmacy - Pharm.D. Application and pay the $90 non-refundable application fee.

The application period begins on October 1 and closes on February 1 of each year.

Step Six: Recommendations

Request recommendations from three personal references:
  1. Send an email to the three individuals you are requesting recommendations from
  2. Provide the following link: KU School of Pharmacy Recommendation for Admission
  3. Provide the deadline for recommendations: February 1, 2019
Who makes a good reference?
You should ask only people who you have interacted with over the past two years. The ideal three would be a pharmacist, an employer and a professor, but there are no specific requirements.
