Dean's Office

Chris Claussen manages student recruitment and retention. He serves as an advisor to pre-pharmacy students and helps guide them through the admissions process.

Patricia Coombs is the receptionist for the Wichita campus and assists students and faculty on the Lawrence and Wichita campuses.

Brittany Fellers is the receptionist for the Dean’s Office. She handles communications with students and visitors.

Kevin Fullerton, in conjunction with the Director of Experiential Education, manages all aspects of the scheduling and evaluating of experiential rotations for Pharm.D. students. Specifically, the Associate Director develops assessment tools for the assessment of experiential education, conducts site visits, plans and executes programming for preceptor development, supervises staff within the department, and acts on the behalf of the department director when necessary in campus and off campus meetings.

Jackie Hosey manages external communications for the school, including news releases, website content, photographs and various publications. She also assists students with publication materials and promotions for their community outreach programs.

Patti Steffan assists the associate dean of research & graduate affairs with the graduate honors symposium and graduate student processing. She collects and catalogs ongoing global research programs for the Global Health Center and assists the Neuroscience Graduate Program with seminars, the NGP symposium and graduate student processing.
Information Technology

Altaf Uddin manages overall IT operations for the School of Pharmacy.

Tom Henault provides technical support for KU School of Pharmacy faculty, staff and research associates with labs located in the McCollum Labs, Higuchi Biosciences Center, Multidisciplinary Research Building, and Simons Biosciences Research Lab.

Anthony Jalali supports computer systems and application software for Windows, Mac and computer hardware.

Bill Orth provides technical support for the departments of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology & Toxicology.

Colby Qualls provides technical support and manages the Distance Learning A/V operations.

J.D. Warnock provides web support and development for School of Pharmacy administration, faculty and staff.

Scott Williams supports computer systems and application software for Windows, Mac and computer hardware.
