School of Pharmacy - Closed Technology Issues
Below is a list of closed technology issues for computers and applications in the classrooms and labs at KU School of Pharmacy.

Video is temporarily unavailable on the screens on the right side of Room 2020. The video projector that provides video to the right side of Room 2020 is being serviced.
Room 3004 is experiencing problems with the main power supply for the video screens.
Room 1020 is the currently replacement space for classes scheduled in Room 3004.
The podium mic/lectern is having issues. Vendor has been contacted and is scheduled to address the issue on Friday 12/13.

We've encountered issues in some of our rooms with TurningPoint connecting to the Mobile Response option. Attempting to retry will eventually allow it to connect, but we're in contact with both TurningTechnologies support and KU IT and are currently investigating the issue.

Student camera tracking appears to be having issues. We've notified the vendors and are in the process of scheduling an on-site visit.
There seem to be some student mics that are either not coming on, or some that are always on. The vendor has been contacted and we hope to get it resolved soon.
There is an issue when viewing the instructor camera (from Wichita). The image is grainy. We will have to wait until Winter Break in order to send in faulty hardware for repair. Sorry for the inconveinance.
Instructor camera is currently flickering/blanking out. Vendor has been contacted to resolve this individual issue sooner. Other issues will remain to be resolved during Winter Break.
Status Update 2: Instructor camera flickering has been fixed temporarily until Winter Break.
RxIT is aware that some users are experiencing poor and/or slow network connectivity. KU's central IT department is aware of the issues and are actively working to resolve them.
Screens are performing poorly. Replacements have been ordered and will be installed in the near future.

The student mics are experiencing some tracking issues. The mics all work, however the camera will not pan to the student using the mic function. We've also noticed a certain amount of "open" mics, which are creating additional feedback. This is being escalated to our vendor.
5/1/19 update* Vendor will be onsite today to troubleshoot the issue.
Very faint volume coming from both the Podium, and wireless mics. RXIT is working with their vendor on a solution.
The audio from the podium is currently stuck at a low volume setting and can't seem to be adjusted. Our vendors have been notified and scheduled to come on-site.

The mic tracking will occasionally get stuck on specific mics. Vendor has been scheduled to come on-site. For the time being, student mic tracking may be turned off.

The smartboard stylus in classroom 2020 stopped working properly.
A replacement stylus was installed and tested on Wed. Aug. 29.
Document camera is showing a distorted image.
Doc Camera is working as intented.
Some student microphones are open at all times without the ability to turn them off.
UPDATE: mics are working as intended.
When using the Laptop connection at the podium, content is not being pushed. IT is troubleshooting the issue. UPDATE: Issue has been resolved.
Currently Wichita students cannot see content sent from Lawrence. They can see and hear the instructor from Lawrence. Echo recording is functioning correctly. Awaiting scheduled on-site support from vendor. UPDATE: This issue has been resolved.
Currently lecture and content video view are not functioning. Awaiting scheduled on-site support from vendor. UPDATE: This issue has been resolved.
Laptops are currently unable to be displayed at the podium in 3020. UPDATE: This has been resolved, laptops are able to display content.
The instructor camera in Room 3020 is currently undergoing maintenance by the vendor.
Audio from PC not working.
Left student camera doesn't seem to have power, and content can't be displayed during video conference.
Some 3020 student mics seem to be having output issues.
2040 projector is out of service. Repair has been scheduled.
Full functionality of the Smartboard when viewing Powerpoint Presentations in Slide show view is currently no available. When viewing presentations via Reading View, all options work.
Blurry lines appearing on the right side of the left monitor.
Some students are experiencing problem downloading exams that are scheduled today. We have confirmed with ExamSoft that the problem is on their end and might be related to hurricane Irma. Those who had not downloaded the tests before this morning are needing to take the test on paper.
Computer is frozen at the front of the room.
The projector is not working. Lights will not come on.
Mics not working because of audio mixer failure.
Broken microphones on 2nd row right side of classroom.
